Meet Cindy Fellows, Virginia Brand Photographer

I’ve always had an eye for details, whether it was playing dress-up as a kid and turning Grandma’s couch covers into the perfect wedding train or capturing every kid moment as a single mom with my first real camera. Photography started as a way to hold onto memories, but it quickly became something bigger with a way to help others tell their stories, too.

​

My journey behind the lens took off when I invited myself (yes, really!) to second-shoot a wedding with my dear friend, Katie Ameigh of Ameigh Photography. What started as a fun experience turned into nearly a decade of capturing love stories together, helping couples relax in front of the camera and celebrating their unique connections. Katie will always be my favorite wedding date.

But my love for photography didn’t stop at weddings. I found my true passion in brand photography, working alongside small businesses and nonprofits to capture their heart, mission, and impact. I know firsthand how much work goes into running a business so when you book a brand session with me, you’re getting more than just a photographer. You’re getting a partner who sees your vision, a cheerleader who wants to see you thrive, and a storyteller who knows that the right images can bridge the gap between what you do and the audience that needs to see it.

I believe every business and nonprofit has a story worth sharing. That belief is at the heart of October Grace Media, and it’s also why I was honored to be featured in Moxie Towns’ Mainstreet Maven series, which spotlights Staunton female entrepreneurs on Main Street making an impact in their community.

At home, I’m lucky enough to have my biggest supporter, my husband, Brent. A true Kentucky gentleman, he’s the behind-the-scenes partner of October Grace Media, making sure I can show up as the relaxed, fun, and fully present photographer I strive to be. You may  see him load in equipment, hold lighting, or hand me water and a snack during a long session.
